To start off, last year I mainly wore band t-shirts and ripped jeans. Every. Single. Day. Add eyeliner, and blue streaks in my hair. I'm beginning to realize I only wanted to look like that because of a group of friends I hung out with. Since I don't see them often, I've began to dress WAY differently. I also dyed my hair to a very subtle ombré with highlights around my face. For the school year, I want to dress how I want too, not how I think I have to for certain friends. So, before I buy school clothes, I need some help with outfit ideas and/or good stores to get clothes!(: maybe some must have accessories, staple pieces for my wardrobe, things like that. I would probably define my style as girly, classic, with a little bit of bohemian thrown in there. Help? Thanks Girlies!❤💜💛

A pair of boots and a pair of flats- jeggings and a like 3 cute tops

Haha(: my mom has a strict amount of 'trend' pieces that I can get. Usually, it's buy all the basics I need, and whatever money I have left(which isn't much) I can use on 'trendy' pieces.

My rule of thumb for ensuring that ill get use out of the clothes I buy is I have to think of at least 3 occasions/other clothing pieces that I could wear the garment with.

Oh, thanks! That seems like a helpful rule. I'm a sucker for bright shoes, like purple vans or red toms, so I should start using that rule(:
