I've recently started using a black gel liner, and even though I have tried setting it with black powder it just never looks like the sexy jet black line I want. How do I make it really black?

I use Mac's gel fluid liner, and set it with Carbon. its about as black as you can get!

I have the same problem too. I thought I was applying it wrong. I don't have a high end brand or anything so that could be the problem too.

The wet and wild gel liners is seriously darker than macs, maybelline, and loreal and it last a long time
