Don't do it! If you've been natural this long, just get a press and curl and call it a day. I'm natural, so I can relate.

It's also a possibility that your hair just does not agree with the chemicals in the relaxer and your hair may revert back to the way it used to be.

Hi, I'm a cosmetologist! It could also be that the relaxer they are using on your hair is too harsh for it. Using a weaker relaxer might not get your hair perfectly straight but it could make styling your hair 70% easier and faster. A friend of mine did that and she loves it, she'll be fresh out of the shower and have hair and make up done in under an hour.

I usually do my own twist outs, I wear it in a bun, I'll braid it on one side and have the rest out, I rock a fro...I don't really have a favorite. I believe that with natural hair, as long as your makeup is done, you can rock it however you like... I'm a makeup artist.
