Its so messy around my nail bed! I used a cotten swab with the black hoping for a cloud effect. Anyone know how to create a cloud?

What about cutting a makeup sponge in the shape you desire. I'm guessing a circle. Put a little polish in the inner circle and let it bleed towards the edges of the sponge. That should, in theory, give you the desired effect. Plus, cotton and sticky sounds difficult to work with.
