I see a lot of posts about coconut oil for hair, but I'm unsure of what kind to use. What's the difference between refined and unrefined? And which ones better for hair?

Use the kind that is in solid form, that you can find in tge grocery stores.

I bought mine from nutiva it's cheap and 100% organic I definitely recommend you get on and research it its great!

You want to avoid refined because it has been processed and most of the good nutrients have been removed. The best ones to use are unrefined, cold pressed, organic virgin or extra virgin coconut oil.

I've been using it as a lotion but the kind I got was extra virgin but it gets oily or hard depending on temp. is that okay?

I don't think either I saw said extra virgin. I'll probably just try the unrefined one. Thanks!
