Here's a pic that shows my curls aha... I really like shea moisture leave-in conditioner and devacurl (but this js slighty expensive)! A cheaper product that works great is the garnier fructis cream gel! Curly hair craves moisture, and it takes a while to figure out what YOUR hair loves! I also pit olive oil or coconut oil in on the days where it feels especially dry...only use shampoo maybe 2 times a week tops and finger comb in shower :)

Sea salt KILLS my hair... I think it depends on hair type. Mine is very tight 3b curls and salt makes it even less tamable, but you hair looks great Ava!!

My curls are all perm :(

But I am a cosmetologist and deal with lots of curlies.

Design lines (it's a Regis owned salon brand) has two different curl lock products, one that is also a leave in conditioner and one that is simply for hold. I like using them because they're not sticky, or crunchy, and provide definition.

Also, deva-curl is amazing. That have something called a no-poo, which is a shampoo specifically designed for thirsty curls, I've never tried any of the styling products but I can say I have never heard a word against them.

Hope this helps!
