I have pocs too. I used a medicine called aldactone and it helped me so much with weight and hair. But again everyone is different. I've been doing laser too for the past 2 years and thats the only option right now in long term. Before my laser I use to hide my chin and wear scarf around my neck to cover it. I'm glad I've done this laser now.

Laser is your best option, cuz all meds have side effects!! Also a well balanced diet & exercise helps as well!! But like the other young ladies said before, you are beautiful inside & out!! Have a blessed day ;-)

Hun your not the only one suffering! Have you tried waxing? If that doesn't work go and see a doctor! They may suggest something more permanent Like laser hair removal

The laser can be a good option if you want to get rid of facial hair permanently.

@Patricia P. because pocs causes hormonal problems too. My facial hair is still growing so I need to be on top of it. But is way more better than before.

@bella my skin has become quite sensitive aftrr 5-6 laser sessions. has yours become sensitive too?

@Rashi P. No but it has removed most of the imperfections on my face too. The system they use on my face is called something like Alexandria. The beautician said it goes deep down to your last skin layer and kill the hairs from the roots. I think its best if you search for a clinic that does this system. Before I started laser I had dark purple patches and dry patches around my chin which caused from waxing. And I had ingrown hairs which become infected but they are all gone now. May I ask what medication you re using? I just gave up using yasmin pill.

Wow that's great! congratulations! initially I was given contraceptives but I took them for only six months as I was afraid of the side effects also it did not help. I currently going through homeopathy treatmemt for it which apparently has no side effects, but then again its been a year and a half and I haven't seen any difference in my facial hair growth. however my acne caused due to pcos has gone and hairfall is under somw control. how often do you go for your sessions? are you doing anything apart from that? how thick and fast does your hair grow back?

I had the same symptoms my hair fall was so bad, my body stored excess water which caused weight gain, body and facial hair too. I came off the contraceptive pills and being using them for 11 months. Two reasons I came off it is because it didn't help me at all and using it in long term causes you to not having children in future as it develops a massive Cystic in your ovary. I'm planning to go back to my first medication it was awesome: no hair fall, reduces weight and your hormones become at right level. I only stopped it coz of having low blood pressure. I go to my sessions every 8 weeks. I'm not touching at my hairs apart from attending the sessions. It doesn't grow back so often I would say every 9-10 weeks but I need to be on top of it. Also is not thick at all I would say is same thickness as peach fuzz.
