There was one person who stole an ombré hair pic and just now someone faked a smokey eye.

I can't stand when girls steal nail pictures off google! I caught a girl and called her out.

Dear God, Mookey! Don't even get me started. Taking credit for someone else's hard work is appalling! Full face or not, stealing is plain disrespectful and rude.

Make sure you watermark your pictures or make sure your name is on it somewhere

Its so annoying when people steal peoples work-_- there's a girl on here (forgotten her name) who has loads of pictures of nail designs that she says are hers but they're obviously not because they've got watermarks on them and the the hand is different in each one-_-

My makeup artist stopped last year from putting up her work. She even went as far as shutting down her website because of seeing her work being claimed by others. If a potential client wants to see her work they have to go thru her agent. And its just not individuals doing the stealing either...NYX has gotten in trouble for stealing work and not crediting the artist. That's just one that I personally know of so I'm sure that there are many others doing the same thing and that's really sad.

Yeah shameful, how do you watermark your pics?

I don't think that complimenting someone who does not post a full face is fair..I post pics of my eyemakeup without a full face because I like to focus on just that part and I may not always do a full face just my eyes.

I always take half face pictures of myself. Always. It's the way I hold a camera.. I hope no one thinks I'm stealing other people's pictures because I'm not..

I definitely agree witg Kayla and Chloe, sometimes all I want to do is post an eye look so I don't take a picture of my full face. I hope it doesn't get to the point where people think others are stealing if they don't post a full face. I definitely don't steal looks and usually am using my phone so its easiest to just snap a picture of the eye.

Anyway, it's been a while since I've said this but I knew I'd have to say it again: we need moderators on this forum. There needs to be someone monitoring the threads and pulling posts and pictures that are not in line with the terms of service. Flagging posts also needs to be a more easily accessible feature. A lot of us use the app so I feel like it really needs to be a feature they add to it. Stealing someone's work is not acceptable, period. It's fine to use others' material for reference purposes but blatantly stealing a picture and claiming it as your own is just wrong. And if you do use someone's work as reference or inspiration you should clearly state that and give them their due credit.

Eye looks are getting stolen as well and stolen not only by individuals but by independent makeup companies as well. NYX did it to a well known blogger a few years back and I asked my husband about it earlier today and he said its so common now that there are ways in which to even remove the watermarks from pictures. He said you really can't police it in social media world but if a company actually steals pics and claims them as their own then you have a serious issue on your hands that's sue worthy.
