I am doing a friend"s bridal makeup..she wants a dramatic eye using blues purples and lilacs..I think I should keep the eye a more neutral dramatic so the focus can be more on the dress..meeting have a trial session coming up..what are your thoughts?

Hi Chloe, when you do a trial session give her what she wants then you can also give her in put on your version but keep in mind its what she wants but I'm sure their will be a common ground.it will all work out, she as a package wants the full beauty and in her mind I assume she wants her self to look beautiful all around :-)

If that's what she wants do it, but keep it soft as well. so for example you can use the liliac color to soften it up and use can add the purple and blue to outer v careful not to put all way in the crease.

Thanks for comments so far..but I also forgot to include..she doesn't wear hardly any makeup in her everyday life..I don't have a pic of dress but it is a traditional looking strapless A-line gown with a lace up corset in the back.

Do what the bride wants. I would never want someone to object to a vision that I have in mind for a special event. Offer suggestions to maybe soften it but ultimately..."the customer is always right. "
