You can pin your hair in curls with a bobby pins when your hair is wet and let dry then use a heavy hairspray then your done.

My hair is thin and just past my shoulders. I do headband curls and then do pin curls with the back of my hair becauseit never waves orcurls. the bigger the pieces, the looser the curl or wave is. also I suggest sleep in curlers, or tshirt curls (:
