When you put toothpaste on a pimple do you wash it off or just let your skin soak it in?

Don't do it putting toothpaste on your pimple is really bad for your skin just use some spot treatment or put some concealer over it.

Concealer I think would just make it worse. I wanted to try this method because I ran out of my spot cream and I'm on vacation.

It never worked for me, but I'd imagine you're suppose to let it sit there overnight and then wash it off.

The ingredients that use to be in toothpaste to help little acne spots is No longer in the toothpaste at all and what it will do to your skin now is burn it due to the fluoride and any dermatologist will tell you the same thing. Unfortunately not many know this and end up Burning their skin believing this old remedy still works.I wouldn't do it Jordan because if you do burn your skin your next question will be how do I heal this burn.

Alma is right unfortunately. Toothpaste isn't what it used to be. you're on vacay and need spot treatment tho make a baking soda past and use it as a spot treatment, or neosporin with a bandaid over it (my fave method. I react to benzoyl peroxide so I know alternatives ;P)

Well the first and easiest one is to apply a triple antibiotic cream to the area and cover it with a bandaid. Tea tree oil works as well. I also make my own spot treatment using a variety of ingredients - its a lot to type out so when I make a blog post about it I'll put a link on this app for those who are interested :)

Put it on overnight and wash it off with like warm water in the morning. Do this for a few days and wash your face normally like you always do.

Honey works. In 45 mins that zit will be gone.
