My natural base hair color has some slight orange red tones to the light brown... I'm wanting a level 6... Should I just go with a 6a?? Nothing else seems to get the neutral tone brown that I want!

I wish I could do that but my natural hair color isn't what I want and it grows fast

If it is slight orange red tones than I wouldnt use straight up 6a. I would add it to the neutral color you are using. By ratio I woul at the MOST use equal parts 6a to the other level 6 neutral. Because "a" has some blue base to it I would even use a 7a so the porosity doesn't take it to dark. I hope I helped. Good luck.

It's not slight..it's so bad that people think I changed to a red head

Ok then try just 6a straight up but do it on damp hair so the porosity doesn't take it too dark.
