Please help! How do you keep your nail polish from peeling off or chipping off so quickly? I paint my nails and then within two days I am missing half of my polish on some fingers because the polish will literally peel back on my nail. How can I keep my mani on for more than a day or two?

Do you put a top coat? Or a base coat? Also that happens to me since I wash dishes without gloves and clean without them.

I swear by Zoya Anchor and Armor. I can get a good 5-7 days of wear out of their polish. It's the best I've ever used.

I usually do 2 coats of brush on super glue then I do 2 coats of clear coat. It last up to 1-2 weeks as long as you use gloves for cleaning ^.*

Don't use china glaze. It seriously chips after only a couple hours. It's terrible and I can't understand for the life of me why it's so damn popular & expensive!!😏

If you run your basecoat over and under the edges of your nails before you apply your colour and then do the same thing with your topcoat, it keeps the chips away for longer and won't peel. also it helps to add thin layers of topcoat every 2 days or so. my favourite base and top coats are from nails inc, butter london, and save the nail.

It may be the polish you are using, and the way it reacts to your nails try new brands.

Holy grail of nail polish... Vinylux!! It's two coats of their color and one of their topcoat... Never ever going back to regular polish again... Wears like a gel polish but no light

Use a top and base coat. ReApply the top coat every day or every other day and touch up the tips. That is how I get mine to stay for a week.

I do put on a base and top coat. I have tried all kinds of brands of both from Sally Hansen to Avon to OPI. Brush on super glue sounds like it would really stick! I have used all kinds of brands of polish too... OPI, Avon, Maybelline, Sally Hansen, China Glaze, and more. I have not tried the base and top coats over the ends of my nails so I will try that definitely! Thanks for all the advice! :)
