It's supposed to sting a little, it's acid on your skin after all haha. If it stays for a long time then stop using it/check with your derm.

If its stinging and you feel burning it will make acne scars so its probably best to use something less irrating tactuo is really good

It's supposed to feel that way, especially if it's your first time using it. You should be fine unless the stinging persists or if your skin gets red and swollen :)

Also be as gentle as you can with your skin! When you wash your face use a sensitive face wash (I'm using Clean & Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin) and pat your skin dry with a towel (no rubbing) use an acne treatment (try the Neutrogena!!) and make sure you moisturize really well! I think being consistent with that and not over washing or over aggravating the skin is key! Good luck :)

Stinging feeling after applying salicylic acid is common...Just make sure there is no redness or burning...Use only a tiny bit of the cream on your acne...Apply ice or aloe gel afterwards..If the stinging still continues see a derm coz you might be having a allergic reaction...N please don't use toothpaste the fluoride in it will burn you bad...

You can go to your local drugstore and buy this thing called Arnica Gel. It's a miracle product! Will help lighten scars, stretch marks, sun damage. It's fantastic, and not very expensive! Good Luck :)

Its normal ESP if you have pimples that have just burst open - you can use less concentrated products if its too much on the one you use now - try 1% SA instead that might help.

If the stinging keeps happening stop using it. I'm highly allergic to Salicylic Acid.

Salicylic acid is way too harsh to use on anything. acne can't be fixed by causing more stress to the skin.

I wouldnt use it after a while it makes ya skin dry and my face had gotten swollen from the acid.
