When I flat iron my hair, it doesn't stay flat, it gets curly all the time. what type of products should I use? I have very long hair down my back.

I use the GHD flat iron and it's my favorite! I use chi heat protectant before I iron my hair. When I flat iron my hair I brush it first then clamp the hair with the iron and slowly move it down. Then I use a little bit of macadamia but oil for the ends of my hair when I'm finished :)

I have bought several different flat irons, some more highend and some from the drugstore or Ross! Honestly, the most expensive flat iron I have purchased was $100. The cheapest, was a flat iron from Ross. It's a CONAIR. I use heat protectant, Tresseme (however you spell it) and use a super strong hold hair spray hope this helps!

CHI IS GREAT!! But the down side is not all have heat settings. And I don't trust tresmme heat spray cuz it make the hair.damp and the iron will sizzle. So I use ic heat serum.

Thank you, how do you get the back of your hair very straight, because the flat iron is hard to reach the roots, in the back. any examples please.
