I'm struggling to do a fishtail braid mainly having to hold so many pieces of hair at once, does anyone have any tips?

My best tip would be, don't think about it to much when your doing it.. I guess that confuses people sometimes because they want it to come out perfect so just "do it." :) I had that issue too but my aunt who was teaching me told me that and it actually helped! well hope this helped you in some way :)

Haha I do the opposite of Karen! I suggest doing it slowly and concentrate on which hair piece goes where.
Or try watching a video while doing it yourself so you can repeat the movements.

Assign your fingers to each strand. That's what I normally tell people. then look in the mirror as your do it. also, when you have your two big pieces before starting to braid, cross them before braiding, you won't get a hole in the top.
