My polish usually lasts a day, TOPS. I've tried a few brands of no-chip top coats and they've all failed me.

What should I be doing?

Have you tried cnd vinilux? It lasts a good five days for me with light wear showing rather than chipping

I use the Orly base coat (it has an orange color and feels a bit rubbery in the nail) then make sure the polish goes over the top if my nail and my favorite top coat is sally Hansen I think us better than seche vite.

@Niki, where can you buy the cnd vinilux? I always have my hands in water and its pointless to paint my nails. :(

That's what I use! Lol. @leslie. It's great for drying my nails fast but my polish still chips fast.

Use OPI nail envy strengthener as a base coat, then whatever color nail polish, and seche vite top coat. It's the OPI envy that helps with the chipping! Or you can even use the OPI as a top coat cuz it makes your nails hard n last 4-5 days with no chip.

For last few months I have been using Gelous nail gel as my base coat, nail color, then Seche vite top coat. My mani lasts much longer.

You have your hands in water all day? I used to work not with my hands in water all day, but most of the day. Sadly I haven't found anyway of it not wrecking your nails. :(
