Okay, so I've been doing everything I possibles can to keep my hair healthy. I get my ends trimmed, I use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner, and I use coconut oil. I have really curly coarse hair. I wear it up a lot because I'm trying not to use too much heat on it. It seems like it gave up on growing😩 what should I do?

I already have those. I feel like wen I wear them it prevents my hair from growing because its constantly pulling on it.

Try deep conditioning your ends once to twice a week! And maybe invest in a hair vitamin. It's growing, you just may not be retaining the length.

Should I use homemade remedies on it? Like hair masks?

I know everyone recommends getting hair trimmed, but if you're taking as good care of it as you say you are, split ends shouldn't be a big deal. I've only ever gotten my hair to grow by refusing to trim it for months. That's what works best for me!

You have long hair compaired to me. I have been trying to grow my hair out and I started using the no poo method. use baking soda and water and gently rub it on your scalp; it encourages the hair to grow faster and healthy. wash your body leaving ghe backing soda in. rinse it out and spray with vinigar and rinse. at first your hair won't look to good because it takes all that product off. but after the second time its amazing. don't wear extentions the damage the hair when the pull.

Before you go for shower put coconut oils in the end of your hair and let it be for 10 min. after some weeks you will definitely see a result and of course you have to use it twice a week.

Your hair is probably growing but you just haven't notised because you have curly hair like me it just bounces up all the time. I'm using johnsons baby shampoo to grow my hair and it has made my hair a lot more managable because there are no harsh chemicals in it. Also I agree with Hayley, my hair just stays the same length if I have a trim all the time, so give the scissors a rest and let your hair growwww.!
