I am breaking out like crazy this summer. I usually have like 3 pimples at a time but now I wouldn't even dare count. I need an acne system that works. I am not so sure about my skintype though. I am oily on some parts on my face, and some dry. Some oily AND dry. I don't get it. please help! Getting pretty tired of looking in the mirror. :(

Neutrogena makes an oil free calming/ cleansing acne wash. Very gentle for combination skin.

A face wash that has benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid works great at clearing acne...Nuetrogena Clear Pore Cleanser, Clinique 3 step system, Clean n Clear Persa Gel all are good acne cleansers...Make sure you use a good moisturizer coz both benzoyl peroxide n salicylic acid can be drying on the skin...Do a patch test before using the product to make sure you are not allergic to it...Cleaning up your diet n having lots of water will keep the pimples at bay...gud luck :)

Thank you. I wonder of they have that system though that includes cleanser, moisturizer and hopefully treatment. I have been using different products and it definitely is not working for me.

Thanks! I have been thinking about trying Clinique 3 step system but I am pretty sure it is oh so expensive. I saw Clearasil has a system similar to that but I am a little scared to try because it seems a little too affordable.

Hy Tiff. S! I have the PERFECT system for you! Its the only system that got rid of my forehead scars and prettty fast. Its the clinique three step skincare system. There's a foam facewash, an astrigment, and moisturizer. I've tried a spasonic (similar to clarisonic), and seems like thouusands of drugstore products buut nothing had a huge, massive effect on my skin problem. This will be your lifesaver!! I'm actually going to get another set today (: Hope this helps chick! xxx

I really like Proactiv as it works yet it isn't super drying or irritating like other acne products. I LOVE the toner. I hate their system though where you sign up to have it mailed to you on certain intervals. I use some products more than others in the kit so this just doesn't work.

What do you guys think about Clearasil, Cetaphil and Neutrogena products? I have been hearing wonders about the Clinique 3step system but can anyone give me an idea on how much it is?

I think you can give Clearasil or Nuetrogena products a try first as long as they contain benzoyl or salicylic acid...The Clinique system costs around $60.

Yeah I probably should. Thanks guys! :)

I have acne prone combination skin as well and I swear by Neutrogena products. They work well and are gentle on the skin. Everything in their Rapid Clear line works great especially the spot treatment and the toner. Hope this helps you out!

Clinique might be pricier than other brands, however it lasts much longer. I bought my set in february and now its about half empty. Usually my toner is the first one to finish. So in comparison Clinique might be cheaper on the long run.

Dermalogica a little more pricey but I love their products you can get it at ulta.

There are many things you can try just remember to moisturize well and stick to your acne regiment morning n night for at least a month - consistency is key aside from washing your face using toner n moisturizer try exfoliating 2-3 times a week and then on days you don't exfoliate try a sulfur mask to dry up pimples that should help - the brands I found work best for my oily/combo sensitive skin are Alba botanica acnedote n Mario badescu otherwise great natural products include witch hazel n tea tree oil they work really well too.

Thanks a bunch for all the tips! It's crazy how everyone has a different idea and now I am confused lol! But I am glad I sort of have an idea of what to look for. I have been reading a lot about that witch hazel today, sounds interesting.
