I use to use witch hazel toner, but it made my skin worse surprisingly, I have oily/combo skin and my dermatologist didn't bit recommend I use it because it can dry out your skin, which then produces more oil!

Since I stopped my skin got so much better! Which is weird because I know some people swear by it.

Try just rosewater that you can get from the supermarket. I have combination skin and it feels lovely and hydrates without producing more oil xx

Toner is drying to your skin which is why you HAVE to use a moisturizer. If you use witch hazel dilute jt with water. I personally use Simple Skincare's toner and then their light moisturizer. It evens out the skins ph balance which will therefore give you less oily skin.

I like witch hazel from the drugstore! Or Clinique clarifying from department stores.

Toner is such crucial step in the cleansing process! Toner removes any lingering germs, dirt or dead skin cells that may still be on your face after washing. Finding the right toner is the trick!
Good Luck!

Are you willing to purchase a more high end toner? Because I've used the Origins Zero Oil for two years and it's still my favorite!

Toner is what blots up extra oil and makeup that your cleanser left behind! But I would definitely recommend noxzema original cleanser with eucalyptus oil! It's only about 4 dollars at the drug store

Toner isn't stripping. Astringent is. A toner shouldn't contain alcohol or witch hazel. It is supposed to be hydrating, it will remove any excess product or dirt from your skin after cleansing and restore your pH balance. Rose water is excellent as mentioned above but if you're like me and hate the smell of roses I'd look for something else. Multi active toner by dermalogica is amazing
