Hi beauties!
So yesterday, I attempted to do a sock bun and I failed horribly haha. I think I tried it about 5-6 times..
I couldn't get my hair to stay in the little donut so once I rolled it all the way to the base of the ponytail, there were a bunch if loose hairs: >:( if you guys want to point me in the direction of a blog or video, post a diagram, or simply want to explain what I should do..I'd really appreciate it! Thanks so much xx

The way on the video doesn't work for everyone. What you do is instead of rolling the hair, just when you put your hair into the ponytail take the sock and put slide it down the hair. Like you just put another ponytail on without tying it. Once your hair is sticking out from the sock form the hair around the sock and slip a hair tie on. Boom! Sock bun. Tuck or rotate any loose ends around the bun and secure with Bobby pins if needed. It's written difficult but really easy!  :)

I have a pic of sock bun in my profile... your needs to be damp so that no layer or piece of hair tugs out... also try to use cotton socks for better holding n tighter curls.. wen I used nylon socks the hair slips away because its silky synthetic...

If you have curly hair it usually helps to straighten it first.
