It's called milia and the only way to get rid of it is exfoliating.

I have that same thing. But you can only see it of you pull your lower lip tight. Correct?

I just squeeze them out. If you pull your skin tight you'll see them all over your face. An ex boyfriend was obsessed about these things and he was squeezing all the time, lol.

I have that too.. I asked my estetician that does my brows if I should start investing in professional facials with her (since I'm becoming an old hag. lol) n she also advised to stick with exfoliating. although. I must admit I havent been able to get rid of it. I think a good steam at the gyms sauna should help so the tea steam sounds like a winner. that should work..

Glycolic or salicylic peels. Or microdermabrasion?

Is have to agree w Melanie V they look like milia to me. if you try gently squeezing and nothing comes out I'd say that's what its is. whether it is or not retin a, microderm, and peels will help. if all else fails a derm can poke it and get em out

Don't pop them. Use an exfoliator. It's just clogged pores you have and it's full of oils, if you pop them you could tear your skin and spread the bacteria. Use baking soda as an exfoliator or go to lush and get something there or any drug store. But don't use st. Ives it's to harsh for the skin. Use something more fine. Hope this helped.

I'm a esthetician an those are milla its a over production of keratin,it gets trapped under the skin you can't pop them you can try using a retinoid cream geting a microdermabrasion or peel your skin is not naturally exfoiliating itself so the bulid up of protiens form a tiny cyst

Traci thanks for the info..are there any particular creams or face peels youd recommend so as to be effective?? I actually have this on my cheeks as well...exfoliating never gets rid of them in my case its irritating to always see them there :/

You can try to use a retinol you can try roc retinol or or go online an go to hsn an by dr graf retinol you must use spf n the daytime if you use this its strong you only use a little like a pea size for your whole face an you don't want to use creams that are to heavy for your skin still exfoliate 2 times a week n only use the retinol at night I would also try dr graf peel it is gentle it does not burn you can do that once a week don't over exfoliate either hun.
