Are gel nails good for your nails? Or do they ruin your nails? Any other suggestions? x

They ruined mine I wouldn't suggest them if you want you nails to be healthy and strong

I have the Mally at home gel kit and when used properly it doesn't damage my nails. I also take a vitamin for strong nails as well.

But let me also add, if you use gel nails continually without giving your nails a break it will make the weaker and yellowish. Your nails do need to breath

I heard it could give your skin cancer but I'm not positive maybe try a long lasting top coat for a longer wear.

The skin cancer rumor is because of the UV light that it needs to dry.
That aside, they did leave my nails a bit thin, but nothing that a nail vitamin polish didn't solve:)

As long as they are done professionally and taken of correctly ie not peeled off (!) then they will b fine :)

They won't ruin your nails, just follow what Laura H says, plus they look amazing and feel like real nails and don't look fake, way bette than acrylic and nail polish

Find a nail lamp that uses LED Light. LED lights will NOT cause cancer.
