So many people have different, quirky ways of applying makeup. I know one girl who holds her mascara wand on her bottom lashes and then closes her eyes to coat her top lashes. Do any of you guys have interesting/different ways of applying your makeup?

during summer I just add a primer and a bit of eye under eye concealer for my dark cuircles. I dab on a bit nad use a foundation brush to gentely blend on that area and im done. For mascara, I gently curle, NOT squeeze, just a 2 or 3 gentle curles, open my eye, look up and goat 2 or 3 times my lashes.

I usually do eyes first but if I get a new product I like to start with that first out of excitement! The only product I NEVER start with is mascara which is out of my personal preference other than that it doesn't matter lol

i tend to eyeshadow first, just on the lids, cleaning up fall out before foundation/concealer. then i'll finish my eye make up, doing blush & the like last (usually giving the mascara that got above my eyes time to dry before i rub it off, lol).

I don't know if this is really different or interesting... But
A lot of people put on their concealer before their foundation, but I do it after my foundation, reason being is that if you use it first you end up using wayyyy too much, and end up looking cakey, if you use it after your foundation, you will use a lot less, and not only save product, but have an amazing flawless looking face, with a lot less product!

I usually do my eye makeup first because it always takes the longest and it's a bit cleaner (fallout). I start by filling in my brows and then concealing them. Then I'll apply my shadow/liner followed by my foundation, concealer, blush, highlighter and lippies.

I do my makeup pretty much just like everyone else on the planet. Liquid with hands/brush, other makeup with brushes, that's... nothing very exciting, hah.

I heat my eyelash curler with a blowdryer I am RELIGIOUS about that. I have sparse eyelashes and this is the only method that will make them stand out the way I like. I actually also curl my lashes AFTER applying primer and mascara. I also apply concealer on my lips (especially for vibrant Lipsticks). and for my eyebrows I use brown Mascara. It darkens and shapes without a problem and whatever shape I give my brows sticks :) Like most girls here I do my eyes first. And I usually blend my concealer with my foundation instead of doing one before the other :)

To tightline my eyes, I close my eyes and angle the liner up and move it from left to right instead of keeping my eyes open. I get freaked out with applying liner on my tightline and it's the only way it works for me!

I put lash glue on my skin not the lashes. way less messy.

I stipple my foundation onto the areas that need the most coverage, like my cheeks and chin due to activity and acne scarring. But when I get to areas that don't need as much coverage like my neck and nose I blend in those babies. Also, any excess foundation goes on my neck and chest.

ah, tightlining! thank you jasmine! i always do this different, mostly eyes closed if i wake up within 1-2 hours of doing my make up, because my eyes are still half-closed anyway. :p but if i have the time, i do it with my eyes open so i really get into the inner/outer corners. & always with a regular pencil that's nice & rounded. tiny retractable pencils freak me out & i'm afraid of slipping! :/

I don't tightline because it transfers :l

When applying liquid foundation with the MAC 190 brush I dab it onto my skin, almost like using a stippling brush. This way I feel I get a better coverage and the foundation is firmly on my skin without looking cakey!

Ooh I have to tightline, eyes open. It is literally a must. Even if the only thing I wear is mascara, I have to tightline. I use a Royal brush and Inglot gel liner.

Well Im proud to be the oddball of the bunch lol. I do my eyes AFTER i put on my foundation and concealer. With me i feel the eyeshadows look alot brighter and vibrant this way. Yes i could use a primer but even still then i feel my eyes are two tone to my face. I tried to do it that way with the eyeshadow first because of the benefit of getting rid of fallout but i discover dusting powder once im finish does the same thing.
oh! and i will grab a makeup sponge over a stipple brush anyday!
