Hello, everyone! I was just wondering if anyone knows any good ways to get rid of blackheads. I've tried exfoliating and it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I have them all over my face and I have combination skin. Please let me know what face washes, masques, or any home remedies work best for you. Thank you! (:

Just steam your face with hot water before you exfoliate. Boil water in a saucepan and stick your face in the riding steam. Then, take a used green tea bag and rub that over your face. Crush 2-3 aspirins into powder and pour some lemon juice or milk into it and use that to exfoliate. Wash off with warm green tea, then scrub with oatmeal. Your face and pores should be loose enough by then making it easier to extract blackheads. Lemon juice treats scars. It has acidic properties (so does milk) that dissolves built up dirt in your pores. Aspirin is anti-inflammatory and prevents your skin from being irritated. Green tea rejuvenates and gets rid of dark circles and wrinkles. Oatmeal moisturizes!

Use a cleanser that has a little bit of salicylic acid in it. Unlike popular belief, blackheads do not develop from dirt. It's excess sebum that our skin creates that oxidizes inside out pores. Salicylic acid breaks down that oil, therefore, helps clear out the pore.
