I braid my hair loosely the night before and the moment I take it out, run my fingers through it to separate the curls and spray the you know what outta them! I have long hair as well and it's thick and heavy, as well as fine. It does not like to hold ANYTHING for a long time lol.

Volumizing powder!! It's adds a bit of hold and gives a TON of volume. After being braided, taken out, add a bit of powder, shake upside down and wha-lah! My favorite brand is Big Sexy Hairs powder play.

French braid each side of your hair all the way down and make it tight. Then sleep in it over night and bam.

Use a regular sea salt spray, or make your own by adding sugar and essential oil! Helps to make the waves last long (after you put it in a braid) cheers babe.
