I had a colour correction a few days ago. Today I noticed small scab like bumps all over my scalp, mostly at the top of my head, they aren't itchy or irritated in the least and I was just wondering if that's normal after a colour correction or if maybe I'm allergic to the chemical used.

Probably scalp/chemical burn... peroxide was probably too harsh for you or left to long on the scalp it clears up easy enough :)

Was a strand test done before the service? Or a patch test?

It could honestly be either, it sounds to me like a chemical burn but people do have reactions in many different ways. Is it possible for you to go back to the stylist and have them look at your scalp? That'd be the best idea because depending on the severity, some chemical burns can actually take a very long time before hair will regrow there.
No scabbing of any kind is normal during any procedure, correction or not.

I had my hair lightened once with bleach and peroxide, and this happens to me. It was just a burn from the chemicals, and it went away!

It could be either. Make sure you tell your stylist next time before you get it touched up
