Hey I wanted to know what products would lighten your hair without damaging it. I've tried the homemade remedies but I'd rather just buy something simple instead of making a product every week.

I use sun in and it works quite well but if you have dark brown/black hair you may get reddish results...

Definitely, my hair turns red brown in the fall. it naturally highlights itself in the summer (I just got lucky) but there are books on amazon kindle for hair remedies like this. I know you said you wanted to buy something but it would be a more natural way and might last longer. also not washing your hair every day helps it breathe

The only way for dark brown would be dying if you don't want homemade. I did honey+camomille tea 4 times and it works really well and my hair is darkkkk!! its even better in the sun.

John freida has a really good line. I would check it out. A lot of people said its promising, and his products are fairly priced! Usually can find products under $20.

I use lemon and honey. I then leave it in for two hours and it makes my hair lighter.
