And to answer your question, the colour payoff is average, I find the left and right colours have the best payoff. But I still apply 2 coats to get a vibrant colour. The middle on is actually very sheer. My lips are already naturally pigmented so I didn't find there to be a big difference when I used it, it just added a nice glossy look to my lips with a sheer tint of colour.
