I bought a bar a few months ago hoping it would clear my face and back up. Although it didn't really help it did make my skin feel really soft and smooth. But I wouldn't recommend it.

It's worked fantastic for me! It broke me out at first and freaked me out but after 1-2 days it's allll cleared up! Since then it's been preventing acne & removing the scars. Just be aware if youre acne prone skinned like me!

I read that you should be careful of the fake stuff it shouldnt be black just a darker brown

That may have been my problem. I'm not sure what brand mine was I got it from Walmart on a random spree. It was completely black and like Mookey said it leaked. It made me not want to try any other thought.

I use african black soap everyday twice a day I use the 100% pure version don't use the bars that have other ingredients in it I had acne scars and un even skin time and with my pure african black soap and my neutrogena visibly even moisturizer my skin has all evened out and I have few scars and the ones I have are fading still I buy a tub of african black soap on amazon for like 5 dollars and it lasts forever its amazing I have also got like 15 of my friends and family addicted to it and who knows who else they have got hooked on it the two of them together is an amazing combination

Pure black soap isn't black in color it is brown on amazon you can find it in pure either as a pure bar of it a pure tub of it or as a pure chunk

I buy the 100% pure african black liquid soap 8 oz by nature and herbs but if you just type in pure african black soap you can find a bunch of different brands but they are all pure just make sure it says 100% pure

As Vanessa said Dudu Osun is also pure it works well also I just prefer the tub it seems more sanitary in my opinion because you can close the container and I'm not a fan of bar soap it is all about preference though :)

I use the Dudu Osan brand. My skin didnt like it to much at first, but after two more uses it was good. It works well with acne, it works in the little bit I have, but also the big stubborn ones my boyfriend gets, takes 'em right away. You do need to use a moisturizer though after using it as it WILL dry out your face. I just use Coconut oil or shea butter.

I'm very happy with my African Black Soap even though many consider it "fake". It has done a great job on my skin. And rivals the high-end cleansers I used to buy.
