What is everyone's opinion on rosehip oil for uneven skin tone?

Is rosehip oil as remarkable as everyone says or is it just hype? I like using natural products but it's hard to know what works and what is just hot air around a product. Has anyone got an opinion about rosehip oil? For combination skin to target uneven skin tone?
