I now have a Salon Series hair straightener, but I use it to curl my pin straight hair. I got my 1st styling iron in 2014 & have used one on average every 4th day but I always take care to use a heat protectant on damp hair, currently I'm using the Pro Naturals Moroccan argan oil as a leave in treatment but I may change to the Karmin Heat Protection & Shining Spray, haven't quite made my mind up yet.

GHD deifinitely! I wasn't able to straighten it before and since I got them 4 years ago I can do my hair and save up on the hairdresser's.

Would definitely recommend a ghd. I have both thick and thin plates. for thick hair I would recommend the thicker plates. use a heat spray to prevent damage :)
have a look on their website they usually do good sets with a heat proof mat or including a hair dryer etc

GHD! It's a born survivor! No matter how old it is, it will always work like it's brand new! Sadly the rubber covering broke and whenever I turn it on electricity sparks fly out of it :( it will be missed :(

I have a ghd that I have had for about 5 years. I have long thick hair and the wide one does the job great.
