i got the remington curling wand :)
its amazing , and its crazy cuz my hair never curls
its at walmart and its very cheap for such a good product :)

I have the NuMe 25mm curling wand (I reviewed it on my blog here if you're interested http://beauty.adorability.org/?p=3012) but it is pretty expensive...I only got it because I had a gift card! For cheaper curling wands, I would look for ones that have tourmaline or a type of material that would prevent frizz and damage. Also, some wands are shaped differently than others...the one I have has a barrel that is the same width throughout where others (like the remington one that Angelina recommended) have a barrel that is bigger at the top and becomes smaller, and there are also ones that are smaller at the top and become larger at the bottom...it all depends on what kind of curl you want!

I picked up the revlon curl magic from walgreens for like 25.00 I thought it did a really good job, it comes with the heat glove. It's nothing special for the price mind you,no heat setting or anything like that. but I had no issues with it when i used it. My hair is down to my butt and it gave me a curl that lasted all day and I didnt use any products on it like hairspray or anything.
I was browsing the Ulta website the other day and Bedhead came out with 3 new ones. the wand that had a 1inch barrel and was just straight up and down no curves or anything had some good reviews:

and it ran about the same price. For me it made curling my hair way easier, with hair my length it isnt exactly easy to 1) keep a curl and 2) fit all of my hair on the barrel.

you can get them for about 10 an deven cheaper if you find them on sale, im a hairdresser and i think its so much better than curlying with straighteners as you develop a curled wave that looks literally airbrushed. i got mine for 15, its on sale now for 10.

i have the remmington curling wand and i 2nd that its great, best product for hair that i have spent money on . i got mine from trarget for about $30

You could make one out of a regular curling iron. Kandee Johnson has a video on how to do it if you're interested.

I took a regular curling wand after watching kandee's video myself. it works great. I even use my own glove! lol
