I really wanted to wear shorts and this is stopping me. I apply petroleum jelly to it everyday, its just getting soft but still the dark color is there. what product or solution can I do to it??

If you just want it to be covered for a short period of time (to go out) try dabbing some concealer on it! I have a scar on my knee and I put some concealer on it when I wear shorts.

Yes definitely exfoliate and moisturize that area regularly.

Try olive oil.salt n suger scrub it really helps trust me...

Try Amlactin or some such lotion that contains gentle acids to help accelerate exfoliation.
