Nail Polish lasting tips??

Polish keeps chipping...tried everything and nothing seems to help it stop peeling off after just a few days.
Any ideas ladies? :)

Essie no chip top coat works well. I get a full week out of it. That includes the work days of nail abuse.

I use Sally Hansen hard as nails as a top coat and I'm not exaggerating but it's amazing I used cheap 5 dollar nailpolish underneath it and it hasn't chipped for a week now it's amazing and less then half the price of O.P.I and essie and I think it works better.

Use alcohol on your nails before painting them. Slightly buff. Apply a base. 2 THIN coats of color. Then a too coat. Make sure to coat the free edge of your nail with each polish

I recently read that swiping a cotton soaked in white vinegar before painting nails will keep it lasting. I am trying it tomorrow.

Use polish remover on nails to remove any oils, dirt etc. then a base coat, color and a top coat. Mine last for a week no chipping.
