It's summer 2013! We know what that means! Shaving down there? I've never tried but people say they get rashes and bumps and it hurts! Can I do anything without waxing!!'n.

Maybe nair? I shave and I don't have a big problem, but if you don't want to try it maybe that will work 😬

Don't use nair! On the bottle it specifically says to not use it in the genital area. You could shave but you have to be very consistent with how you take care of your skin after you shave if you prefer not to wax, even if you decided to wax I'd tell you the same thing but shaving can cause more irritation. You should always moisturize after if you have any red bumps treat them, you can use a spray or a lotion that stores sell for bikini bumps, and you must exfoliate so you can prevent ingrown hairs! Hope this helps :)

Use baby oil to soften up the hair and a men's facial razor when you shave. After you're done apply an unscented deodorant! All of this should help prevent bumps and rashes.

Try plucking? It takes quite a bit of patience but the results are fab! And it grows back in 3 weeks, which is pretty good compared to shaving (a week). Either that or use a trimming scissors. Just be careful!
Hope it helps! xo, Carabelle

Honestly I think you should just get waxed! Get a bikini line wax, it really isn't that sore! It lasts for around 6weeks for me!

I wear shorts so I shave all of the time (lol) the best way to get a close shave is to soak the area for around five minutes, EXFOLIATE (very important), rinse off, and use a very hydrating cream like conditioner (shaving creams tend to have alcohol in them that irritates the skin). Use a sharp razor with at least 4 blades. When you're all done apply lotion :)

I would really suggest just getting a wax. It hurts but it's over quickly and lasts for a long time! You have to shave like every day and I can never consistently avoid irritation. Waxing is just so much simpler! Hope this helps!

Put baby oil on right after you get out of shower to prevent razor burn

I have super thin hairs, so I just shave it like I shave my legs. ;D

I think the people who told you that it hurts are over reacting and it may itch but not unbaribly.
