For scars you should use bio oil, I use it on a huge scar on my face and it has slowly disappeared. And for clear skin I use clearasil's rapid action face wash after I get out of the shower since my pores would be nice and open because of the steam then use Walgreens benzoyl peroxide gel on my trouble spouts then put less than a pea size amount of Simple's hydrating light moisturizer. Drink lots of water and get a good nights sleep.

And also if you stop using it after it has got rid of or spots etc.they will come back because your skin would have got used to it
