Crown brushes (there is a sale going on right now on hautelook)
Sigma
Mac

Dugstore/cheaper brands
Sedona lace (compareable to sigma)
Makeup geek (dupes for mac)
Ecotools
Real techniques
Elf (they are only $1-$4 and are amazing!)

And sigma as well, they're not as high end as MAC But for a full brush set to start you off they are very good.
A majority of my brushes for my kit are sigma.
