Well, I think if they're meaningful it's great. if not, something small is cute. But for ladiez I don't think big, meaningless tattoos are pretty. They can be tacky.

I think they are cute but I know they will hurt and when you get older they will still be there so I like temporary ones and drawing on myself.

I like them and I do not think they have to be meaningful or small. I think of it as art and some art people but because it's meaningful and some art people buy because it's aesthetically pleasing.

I'm planning to get a Where's Waldo behind my ear just because its cute. My only big criteria with tatoos is that they are well done and well placed. a huge badly done peace sign on your back is not at all classy.

It depends. To me, large
tattoos (sleeves, etc) tend to make you look unattractive, if not unprofessional. On the other hand, I understand getting a tattoo that has meaning to you. If I were to get a tattoo, it would be small and simple. Something that is meaningful and important to me.

My point of view you only live once and tattoos can mean a bunch of different things, they are art! I have 6 now and am planning on getting a sleeve soon and if someone says your going to look weird when your old, ask them to tell you more about how beautiful you will be in 60 years... Lol ps it's makes us unique! Love love love tattoos!!

I love them so much. There is a digital painting that I absolutley adore that I want. Even though it doesn't have a specific meaning to me., its art work and art is meant to trigger emotions and be used to express yourself. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and especially with the sterotypes that come along with tattoos it is impossible to make everyone happy. So you really truely just have to listen to your heart to know if it is right for you or not.

I think if you get a tattoo it should have meaning or be small, but that's my opinion(:

Just because someone has full sleeve tattoos, doesn't mean that they don't have meaning. My dad is full upper torso tattooed, and he can tell me the meaning of each and every one!! :))

I'm not going to rant and get butthurt about some of the girls' posts on here. I understand tattoos are a lifelong commitment, and they may fade, or stretch out, or wrinkle. They may look "tacky" and unprofessional, but in all honesty, you don't know the person who cherishes their tattoos at all.
A tattoo is art, albeit some people sadly get them done by people claiming to be artists, but a tattoo to someone could symbolize strength, rebirth, love etc. etc.
Me? I have a Japanese sleeve on my left arm, and I can say right now, that it is not tacky nor unprofessional. Why? its an arm. It is so easy to wear a long sleeve shirt for the rest of your life in your career of choice.
Were living in a world today, where tattoos and piercings are very common. There are ample products that can help you conceal the tattoo, should it become a barrier for a job.
In all honesty, I'm not trying to be rude, but rather a little more informative and an eye opener. Stop judging people. They are ultimately not your problem. So don't feel insecure about tattoos, or piercings, even wild hair colour. To each their own.
