Super short hair help!

I really like short hair but I have thick, curly hair. Anything I can do to make it possible to have this hair!?

I have tried thinning it before but it is REALLY thick so it doesn't help...

Take the picture to a salon and ask them if they think they can do it :) experts will find a way.
