I have used olive oil on my hair, and unless you hav super dry hair I don't recommend it. If you have oily scalp and dry ends just apply it on the ends. The problem is olive oil is very difficult to wash off and it makes your hair heavy after the shower, hence making fine hair very flat.

I suggest you try almond oil. It really makes your hair soft and shiny.

I do an olive and coconut oil hair mask 2 times a week. I heat the oil a little, then massage into my scalp an all over, focusing on my scalp and ends mostly. Then I leave it in for an hour and wash it out.
