I love putting on eyeliner but I don't like it when its too dark...please give me tips on how to go about it.!!

Either don't put so much (just a thin line) or use brown eyeliner instead, it's much less harsh.

Try brown liner. it's not as intense but still defines.

If you use like a gel liner with a brush/pencil, but you feel like the line it too thick, just cut a piece off the brush. Worked for me!

I do use a gel liner and I never thought of cutting a piece...will do it though ty Nicky B.

You could also try using a pencil (black or brown) and setting it with a matching powder...it's easier to fix and a little lighter than gel or liquid

I agree with the ladies above. Brown eyeliner, whether it be liquid pencil, or even cream, it is my go to when I want a natrual, light look to my makeup! :)
