I think: why would you paint a symbol of racism on your nails? That's pretty f-ing stupid.

@Bree I'm black and I'm from the south. I don't find this design offensive. The rebel flag in my opinion represents heritage not hate. I think they are cute and that took some talent to do. Taria do you boo.

I agree with @Sevetria M. I live in Jacksonville, FL where this flag flys big in folks pick up trucks. While I'm from Cali originally what I find offensive is derogatory name calling. A flag doesn't hurt, words do.

@Bree you need to educate yourself before you discriminate. It's about heritage not hate. @Sierra thank you @Sevetria thank you for your kind words @Shelley I totally agree 100%

I would make the detailing smaller so you could fit the whole thing on there.I just think that would make for a cleaner look.

Honestly, I am with Bree. Where I live, it is all racist people that I see fly the flag, hang it in their house, or put it on their truck. Bree is from not far from me, so I am sure she has seen it represented the same. To us it symbolizes bad. Just saying.

The rebel flag was the flag of the Confederate States of America. The civil war erupted over states' rights, not slavery. The South was in favor of states' rights and the North wanted the national government to have more power. Confederates freed their slaves 5yrs before the Union did. Anything can be made hateful but that is not the history behind this flag.

I know the history, I wasn't saying it is racist or anything, but around where I live that is what it is used as, and therefor tends to be associated with. A few people got defensive towards her about her comment, so I was making a point with it.

I didn't see anyone get defensive they were simply pointing out that her post was inaccurate and rude.

@Brittany A. not all racist people fly that flag. I have a very sweet family that lives next door to me who has a big Confederate flag on the back wall inside their garage. We've had joint hurricane parties, they watch out for my kids playing in our cul de sac and were there for me when I needed to be rushed to the emergency room. Racist they are not. So to associate anyone who flys that flag as racist is wrong. Yes, there are some who abuse it and use it as such but in my personal experience its been far and between.
