I need some lipstick tips 💄

Sometimes I like to wear darker lip colors like this. The only issue I have is that sometimes it looks messy. I use lip liner and everything but as soon as I put on the color, the edges of the lips look jagged. Any tips on how to apply lipstick so it looks clean and more professional? Thanks!

I tap my lipstick on. that actually helps with lasting and not making it look too messy, or as if I was in a hurry, but that's just me :) hope this helped :)

@em, that's usually what I do. It works well for lighter colors but bold ones still look messy sometimes. I'll try a lip brush.

I have this same problem I use a lip brush to smooth the edges.

Lip brush & concealer around your lips.

Put lip liner on the lips then color them in with the liner and then use a lip brush, I used to have the same problem but since I started doing this it never happens anymore :)

What brand lipstick do you use? It sounds like the color is feathering so I would suggest switching the brands to see if that helps at all.

I highly recommend using a lip balm before, eos is pretty amazing but I suppose any lip balm is fine :) xx

Line your lips after you put on your lipstick so you get a more edge-cutting look.
