What should I wear for my cousin's wedding?

So this is my first time being a guest to a wedding and I know I'm suppose to wear a dress. But I'm not sure what colors are appropriate (I know white is a no no) and if I can wear any dress I like. Help?

I would think about what colours would suit you the most and style, try not to wear anything too short I always go for nothing shorter than just above the knee. Also, a maxi dress is perfect for summer weddings an they can look "dressy" with the right accessories. Wear something comfortable too so it will make its way from day to evening :)
