I've just started using makeup and I want to try eyeliner. So I bought the pencil eyeliner. I feel bad because I always hear about liquid eye liner being better. I can always just go to the store tomorrow and get the liquid eyeliner. Should I throw away the pencil or practice using it?

Practice your skills with the pencil. Application is so much easier for beginners with pencil. However the liquid truly does look so much better BUT only if it is put on properly. If you have little experience the liquid will look super sloppy and B A D.

You could still use the pencil :) start practicing. You could also smudge the pencil. They are pretty versatile so I think you should keep it but definitely go out and get a liquid liner.

Keep the pencil and also get liquid. pencil works and looks sooo much better than liquid on your water line. but liquid looks sooo much better on the top lid(: good luck girl! welcome to the makeup world! advice: get creative.

Since you are new to it, definitely keep the pencil and practice with it. And when you feel ready to try liquid I hear it helps a lot of people to draw it on with pencil first then go over with liquid, but have never tried that way.

Look for a gel or pencil liner next. You should definitely have all three in your makeup kit, but if you wanna do liner on the top lid look into the other two.

Maybe try a cream liner pencil or a liquid eyeliner pen! They're just as easy to apply as a pencil liner but instead of crayon it's a liquid felt tip. :)

Ldon't throw your pencil eyeliner! you can smudge it, use it on your waterline, tightline with it, etc.

Pencil is easier and seems less dramatic to me but I like how liquid looks more precise. It just depends on what kind of look you want.

I use both depending on the look I am doing. Liquid liner does take practise so I suggest you try a gel liner. I use mine a lot and it would be easier for you to use as you get much more control. Buying a decent liner brush will make application easier.
