I, along with most people, love neutral colors and all of the looks you can make with them. But with pretty much every other palette you buy coming with neutrals in them (a lot of times half if not more are neutrals) is a naked palette really worth getting?

I guess not even the Naked palette specifically, there are other brands with the same kind of palette, it was just the first that came to mind.

I think it is, I love the shades and the quality of them :)

Urban Decay just has great pigmented colors. You pay for the quality. I think this is the case with most ( not all) prestige veranda vs. drugstore. Sure there are always color dupes, but the finishes and color payoff etc. are worth the extra money. In my humble opinion anyway.

You get what you pay for and it shows with this pallette, there is little almost none fall out and it lasts all day with the UD primer potion!

I love my Naked Palette as its well pigmented and the colors last. The Lorac Pro Palette is similar and has some color though, and more colors for a cheaper price.

I'm a fan of the lorac pro palette myself. I was torn between it and the naked palette and I'm super happy with my decision :)

I have Naked palette and I think it was worth getting.
I've never really raved about it but I'm using it almost every day (and I have a lot of different neutral palettes), so I guess there is a reason why I reach for it (quality + beautiful colors) ;D

I get the quality thing, I love Urban Decay, almost all of my makeup is UD, actually. I was just wondering if it is really worth getting a Naked (or other nude palette) when most other palettes are at least half nudes. I have four UD palettes, Book of Shadows 5 (I believe 16 colors, and around half are neutrals), Roller Girl Palette (3/4 are neutrals), FUN Palette (3 of 6, so half, are neutrals), and Ammo (2-4 out of like 10 are neutrals). I know a lot of other girls also have several palettes with several neutrals, yet still get neutral palettes like the Naked Palette, just wasn't sure if it is really worth it when you have all those neutrals in other palettes. You know? Part of it seems silly to me, but at the same time I love them so I just can't decide.

You should go on emilynoel's youtube page, she talks about dupes for the naked palette I think. I don't really think it's worth it for the price tbh.

Youtube kills my computer, so I am not able to use that site. Not really concerned about dupes, just wondering about the logic of getting the palette if your a person with 50 other neutrals already. But thank you!

I'm not a neutral color fan, but I do pick up a few browns here and there from different brands. But I'm good with what I have, so I don't see a point of getting the Naked palettes. (And I don't really want to pay $50 for it.) If you've got tons neutrals, I wouldn't get it, Brittany. Maybe when you've used up most of your neutrals, then it would make sense to buy the Naked palette. And easier on your wallet ;P

Jaime, yeah, that is kind of what I was thinking, just so many people still get it anyways, so I had to ask.

I've brought expensive eyeshadow palletes before and I've brought cheap ones that have been so much better than the expensive brands in pigmentation wise I'd suggest look around before you dish out money for an expensive brand

I haven't bought any of the naked palettes or an all neutrals palette for this exact reason. Between all of the palettes I have that come with neutrals I don't feel like I need a whole palette dedicated to just them. If there's a shade you really like that's available individually I would just buy it and say skip the palette. I think they're generally more for people who don't have many at all and are looking to get a good bit in one swoop. If you buy other palettes a good bit I don't think it's necessary.

You got a point. If you have so many other palettes with neutrals, you probably don't need another one.
On the other hand, I know I have enough make up for all my life (damn you, expiration dates) but I'm still buying new stuff.. It's just addiction I guess..

Caitlin, exactly what I was thinking. I use to want the Naked Palettes (several months ago), but then I realized it seemed silly to get it (at least for me), and am just so curious of others logic behind getting it when they already have several like I do. But yeah, I am completely with you.

Why does it matter why people want what they want? In the end, it's their own money being spent. On another note: While their are similar "dupes" to some of the colors, some of the shades in the Naked palette are pretty unique.

Missy, it doesn't really matter, I was just curious because for ME there is no point in it that I can see.

Yea for some reason I still have the naked palettes on my wishlist on Sephora. I may end up buying them one day but for now I think I'm good. I'm getting the Ariel palette soon and, surprise, there's neutral shades in it too lol. So for me it would be so pointless to buy any of them, except maybe the basics palette because I don't have many matte shadows. There are a couple shades I wouldn't mind having from the naked palettes, although I haven't looked to see if they are available individually. Honestly I think the only neutrals I really need from UD are Sin, Smog, Chopper, Maui Wowee, and Twice Baked. All of which I have and then some haha.
