Toms. I think mine are pretty durable to be honest. I have the crochet ones that I wear every day to work which is a day care and I also wear them to my bfs who has a farm and I pretty much treat the shoes terribly but they are still together and looking good!

Depends on your style too, of course. If you go more dainty, toms would work. But vans in you're more of a "kick back chillin in the streets" jeans type of girl, vans is the way to go. Either way is cute! And get black for either. You can wear them with anything

I have 3 pairs of toms , they are very comfortable and I have had my red toms for two years now I wear them to school mostly and treat them pretty bad , they are still in good condition.
