It depends on if the dress look to promish and who have seen you in it already. if its one of those versatile dresses than it should not be a problem.

I wouldn't recommend a long style prom dress but a short style dress can always be versatile when it comes to events. BUT it also depends on the amount of "bling" it has. and how "poofy" the dress is. not too poofy and not too much bling and sparkles.
