Bb cream is supposed to have a ton of benefits but it doesn't do anything to help my skin. it's pretty much a glorified tinted moisturizer. a normal foundation can have a range of finishes and amounts of coverage. and it depends on what you want to use the bronzer for. to contour you want one that will look like a shadow on your face. so about two shades darker than your skin and always matte.

Bb cream is lighter and smother mainly used if you have minor skin discolouration a and if you what your skin to glow foundation is thicker and used to coverup example pimples.

Bb cream is normal skin moisturizing cream with a little color in it. It "fuses" with your skin and gives a natural look. Foundation is just foundation :)

True BB Cream is most definitely not a tinted moisturizer! The western ones are terrible... But asian brands have medium coverage, with many benefiting properties. SPF, anti-aging, etc.there are many formulas for acne clearing, whitening, brightening, moisturizing, and more :)

Wow! My Bobbi Brown bb cream offers full coverage and does a lot better job than the traditional tinted moisturizer in my collection. Everyone is so quick to bash Western bb creams but there are some gals who cannot wear the true bb creams out of Asia. I for one tried and they all made me look ashy due to not being a color match. And I refuse to mix or layer foundation over it. :(

Bb cream gives a lighter coverage, while foundation is full coverage. And I agree with you Shelly! everyone is too quick to judge the western bb creams, I personally, love my Garnier bb cream, as the Asian ones are too light for my skin color. Each to her own I guess :)
